Live from SXSWi
by Patrick Ruffini :: March 11th, 2007 9:33 amI’m making a quick trip down to Austin for the South by Southwest Interactive Festival, where I’ll be speaking on a Tuesday panel on “Net Politics: The Internet Can Make You President.”
I’ll be providing live coverage from the scene on Overclocked, my tech blog. If anyone else will be attending SXSW and wants to meet up, please drop me a line.

The internet has given the Condi for President movement the access to supporters which did not exist back in the 1980’s. Over 20 websites are dedicated to the discussion and promotion of Secretary Condi Rice being the next president.
On the issue of foreign policy, she has the experience necessary to enter the Oval Office on Day One to pick up the phone and call any world leader.
In fact, the latest Zogby poll shows:
Rudy 29%
McCain 20%
Romney 9%
Condi 7%
Newt 7%
She is seen in the eyes of the public as PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL. Polls show this is true with Marist at 50%.
The message is getting out to the citizens across the nation because of the internet. Our site, www.thinkcondi.net, has been buzzing for the past week since CPAC. Republicans and conservatives want her to run.
Good luck in Texas. You can ask them about the national movement to get Condi Rice to run. They have heard about it and they know Condi is the 800 pound elephant in the 2008 room.
