Poll: Facebook Redesigns. You Like?

by Patrick Ruffini :: April 11th, 2007 7:02 pm

Today, Facebook launched its redesign, and learning from the intense backlash faced from the introduction of the now-beloved Live Feed, they created a user group to preview and solicit feedback on the new design. That group has grown to over 113,000 members.

Though the new navigation scheme will take some getting used to, I like it. Facebook could very well have said, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” and stayed complacent. This is a nice evolution that doesn’t compromise the essential cleanliness of the site. It’s particularly smart of them to use Ajax to collapse and simplify some of the navigation options.

Here’s a poll for Facebook users among you. Is this redesign a positive step?

Facebook just redesigned. Do you prefer the new or the old design?
